On April 6, m.simons will open The Color Guide, a solo exhibition by Michael Tedja. The opening will take place from 5–7 PM at the gallery.
Michael Tedja (Rotterdam, 1971) is an artist, writer, and curator whose multidisciplinary practice spans painting, text, installation, and publication. His work brings language and image into direct confrontation, layering words, gestures, and colour into dense yet deliberate compositions that function as spaces of reflection and translation. Alongside his studio practice, Tedja is active as a writer and curator, and over the past two decades has established a distinct presence within the Dutch art landscape and internationally, with solo presentations at institutions including the Cobra Museum, and works held in major public collections such as the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam and ICA Miami.
